This album has messages of hope, guidance and a better life for everybody. The album has ten tracks, each one with a different message and musical sound. Unlike any other music released by Bortier Okoe, the sounds are unique, yet still display the organic poly-rhythms typical of his music.
Wicked Kingdom features the singles, Love to the World and Onor Ji Onor instrumental, released in 2019. The title song, Wicked Kingdom, focuses on equal rights amongst all men, and motivates the listener to concentrate on their own freedom, encouraging pure intentions, despite negative external influences, and showcases the sound of Bortier’s outstanding drumming and musical skill.
This up-tempo album will be the dynamic soundtrack of 2020, with a deeper message within. The music aims to highlight that every person is important, and to enlighten you spiritually. It is uplifting, informative and inspirational, and Bortier hopes it encourages each of us to be aware of our own journey, and to aim to be the best person we can be.
